Policies and Procedures Regarding Covid-19
Changes You Will Notice During Your Visit
Reduced Auditorium Capacities
To increase social distancing, available seating in auditoriums is limited to 50% capacity or 50 seats, depending on the auditorium size.
Reserved and Buffer Seating
Auditoriums have been converted to reserved seating. When reserving seats at the theater or online, the seat to the left and right of your ticket will be automatically blocked out, ensuring you will only sit next to your family and friends.
Tickets purchased online no longer need to be redeemed for individual paper tickets at register. Instead, please bring a print out of the confirmation page or display a digital version on your phone to the usher.
Movie showtimes will be staggered to minimize congestion in the lobby. In addition, more time will be added between showtimes to allow for enhanced cleaning and disinfecting of seats.
Only every other register will be used at the concession stand to increase space between guests and reduce congestion. The floor will be marked every 6 feet to encourage social distancing.
Limited Menu Items
For a short time, certain menu items will not be available. Classic theater treats such as popcorn, nachos, candy, and drinks will still be available.
Self-Serve Counter and Drinks
Popcorn seasoning shakers have been replaced with single use portions, which are available at the concession stand by request. Lids will be provided with any cups that are purchased at the concession stand. Only unused cups can be used at the self-serve soda dispensers. For soda refills, used cups can be exchanged at the concession stand for a new cup and lid.
Seating in the lobby has been reduced. Guests are encouraged to take a seat in their auditorium as soon as it is available.
Cleaning and Sanitation
Extra time has been added between showings so our staff can thoroughly clean and sanitize seats and handrails in auditoriums by using electrostatic disinfectant sprayers.
Frequently Touched Surfaces
Staff will regularly sanitize surfaces that are frequently touched throughout the facility such as counters, door handles, napkin dispensers, etc.
What Guests Can Do To Help
Be aware of your surroundings and practice social distancing by maintaining 6 feet between guests whenever possible during your visit.
Face Mask Requirement
RMC Cinemas operates similarly to restaurants with regards to face coverings. Guests are required to wear face coverings while in the lobby, hallways, and restrooms. Face coverings may be removed once seated in the auditorium. Guests that do not comply will be asked to leave, but may return again when in compliance.
